Life for all of us is a roller-coaster ride with uncertain future, known past and twisted present. "All the world's a stage; men and women merely players". This line from Shakespeare's sonnet perfectly describes what life exactly is. I wouldn't deny the fact that the meaning of life is different for everyone and depends on various factors and experiences of an individual. But the core of it remains unchanged and I would like to throw light upon the same. 

From the day of zygote and embryo formation - a heart that beats, a being that needs food and oxygen to breathe comes into existence. This is life! Gradually, from a new born baby to a school going child; life surpasses from one phase to another. However, this little champ of such immature age never knows what exactly it is or what life is going to be in near future. He/she accepts the failures, joys, pleasures, success and sorrow with utmost innocence. So, the munchkin unknowingly knows the key to a happy life. Sarcastically, the known ones fail to have a smile even amidst all the luxury. So a perfect life, for sure, doesn't mean having all what one aspires for. 

Well, a few people also state that life is an opportunity for human beings to help the mankind in the best way possible and this is the sole purpose of life why God created us. In terms of science, life is characteristic feature that distinguishes living organisms(biotic components) from non-living organisms(abiotic components). For a mother life is to nurture his child, for a father it is to earn money, for a child it is to study hard, for an adult life means to get a job and have a well settled life, for a billionaire it is to expand his business more, for a poor it means to get two times meal in a day, for a farmer it is to have good farm yield, for a lawyer it is to win his cases, for a teacher to impart knowledge, for a social worker to help the most disadvantaged sections of the society, for a civil servant to frame best policies for the betterment of all, for a minister to get votes and for a writer to pen his/her thoughts. As I had mentioned earlier, the meaning of life varies from person to person due to the profession they are in, their financial conditions, their age, their status, their responsibilities and many more. 

I have found many people crying and being sad on things that are not in their control. Be it failure, their physical features, their intelligence, their economical conditions and other numerously more reasons. So, dear readers is there any benefit of it? Of course not! One must learn to embrace the person you're within. You must not waste time in thinking of what you aren't and focus on who you are. You shall not keep pondering on what you should be or what you would have been because in the search of the historical excavations and futuristic assumptions, you lose the precious moment you have at that particular moment. 

However, a life without a purpose is like a body without soul. Hence, to have a purpose in life is very important. A sailor sailing his ship in the ocean will certainly drown if he doesn't know how to direct the ship and where to direct it. Similarly, a person can never stay happy in his life without a purpose of it. When I say that all of our lives must have a purpose, doesn't mean that we need to run after our dreams or set moon high goals. It is a part of life to achieve success, be independent and self-sufficient. But it is not life! The purpose of life is life in itself. Something that realizes you who you are, that includes helping others because all have a right to live and it's our purpose of life to help those. We are no insects or unsound beings who roam from place to place; rather reality of imaginations and solutions to the problems. 

I would like to state certain points that will instigate us to have a purpose in life;

We all are MORTAL:

When I mention that we all human beings are mortal, I mean to say that we all are going to die and complete our life cycle. And this very thing unites all of us irrespective of our caste, sex, creed, race, language, nationality and profession. We all are similar in this perspective. So, in this world that's a global village we must stay united and respect ourselves and the people around us. 

There's only one truth:

Yes, there's only one truth that is we all are created by the Almighty God and he has created all of us for a purpose. The only thing that we need to do is to find out that purpose and work on that. It is the important to help those in need. If we have a good life or even difficult one; let us help out for those who are in even more worse condition than us and fulfill the purpose of life by helping those in need. 

Life is not a fairy tale:

For all those who think that you have a difficult life or just you are facing troubles in life. Then allow me to correct you all that you all are wrong here. Kindly, look around the world. Each war results in numerous casualties, each failure results in thousands of suicides and depressed minds, each poverty issue leads to multiple other issues and no one, in this world, is isolated from pain, misery, sorrow and anxiety. So, you are not alone and ofcourse, life is not a fairy tale. It is not a smooth road with no turns and no breakers. It is a difficult road full of difficulties. So let us not bother on how difficult life gets at times and work on ourselves to change the course. 

Not just me or you are trying to find what life exactly is, however, there have been many scholars in the past and present who have worked on finding real meaning and purpose of life.
