यूँ तो हम इकिस्वि सदी के "मॉडर्न" लोग हैं| मगर इस मॉडर्न अथवा आधुनिक मनुष्य की सोच किसी आदिकाल के आदिमानव से कम नही | जहाँ एक तरफ देश व दुनिया प्रगति के मार्ग पर है, वही दूसरी तरफ कुछ पितृसत्ता से प्रभावित लोग औरतों को किसी वस्तु के साथ तौलने से नही कतराते |   यह सब सहसा शुरु हुआ  उसने उसकी आँखों में देखा पलके झुकाई, ज़रा मुस्कुराइ,  फिर ज़रा शर्माई ||  प्यार का सफर, उन्होंने संग किया तय  आशा थी की वे आनंद के आकाश में ऊँचे उड़ चले,  प्यार की नदी को खुशियो की तैराकी से पार करे,  एक दूसरे के लिए बारिश में धूप ले आये,  दर्द के काँटों में फूल की बरसात कर पाए||  तूने ये छोटे कपड़े क्यू पहने है,  ये फोन में नंबर किसका है,  इधर मत जाना, उससे बात मत करना,  ए आईना बता इसे, इसका तराजू में क्या तौल है, क्या ये बहुत मोटी है, या कुछ ज्यादा ही तिनके के समान है,  स्नेह जैसे पावन भाव को, उसने तो जिस्म से आंक लिया उस गहरे समुद्र का पानी , फिर छलक के बाहर गिरा,  वह तो चिड़िया थी खुले आसमां की,  बंदिशों मे कहाँ आने वाली...

लाखों युवा की  प्रेरणा, अनेकों के मार्गदर्शक हैं वो, नवीन सोच के स्रोत, कलाम है वो || पतंग उड़ाने से मिसाइल तक किस्सा सपने सच करने के हूनर का है मिसायममैन कहे जाने से पहले का संघर्ष और सफलता के बाद की उनकी सादगी  हाँ, इन्ही मोतियों से पिरोया है कलाम ने अपना जीवन  साइंस से लेकर सपनो तक एक ही व्याख्या कलाम ने संवारा देश ये हमारा || खूब जानने की जिज्ञासा थी कलाम की,  इसी ने आगे चलकर विज्ञान को नई दिशा दी | एक सहज सवाल आया इस कक्षा पांचवी के विद्यार्थी को,  शिक्षक सुब्रमण्यम ऐयेर से पूछ बैठे- " चिड़िया कैसे उड़ती है?" जब मिला सवाल का जवाब तो मानो मिल गया हो उन मासूम आँखों को एक नवीन स्वप्न |  सात भाई-बहनो में थे सबसे दुलारे,  पढ़ते बहुत थे ये कलाम न्यारे | पर घर की हालत थी मानो ऐसी ,  दो वक़्त खाना - खाने की चिंता सदा थी रहती |  पढाई जारी रखी और घर में आमदनी की भी सोची साईकल से बेचते थे अखबार,   और उन अखबारों को पढ़कर प्राप्त करते थे ज्ञान |  थकान को कभी सपनो के आड़े नही दिया आने,  सुबह चार बचे उठकर, रात को ग्यारह ...
